Laurie Nelson is the newest designer to emerge on the home furnishings scene in the coastal Carolinas. Energetic and innovative, her experience in design spans twenty years and embodies a sense of elegance, serenity and life.

While growing up in Virginia, Laurie often visited historic sites with her family. She has many happy memories of seeing Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson, as well as Williamsburg and the many beautiful homes in the Virginia countryside. Her passion for design developed from these experiences as well as from being around her mother and grandmother as they created lovely interiors.

Laurie has brought these classic elements and combined them with the influences of living surrounded by the ocean, marshes and wildlife of North Carolina. These inspirations have led to the development of a new line of incredible lamps that have helped distinguish the houses she has touched.
